Xtra Time Web Desk: A fiery spell of bowling by New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson saw India being bowled out for 217 in 92.1 overs on Day 3 of the ICC World Test Championship Final at the Ageas Bowl on Sunday. Jamieson took a five-fer as his spell read 22-12-31-5. It was also his fifth five wickets haul in eight test matches he played so far.

The BlackCaps fast bowlers were a lot more disciplined compared to Day 2. Making full use of the overcast conditions the likes of Jamieson, Trent Boult and Neil Wagner wrecked havoc in the Indian batting. Indian captain Virat Kohli was the first batsman to be dismissed on Day 3 as he failed to put bat to an inswinger from Jamieson, finding his pads on the way. Kohli did take a review but it was an unsuccessful one as he walked his way back to the pavilion without scoring to his overnight score of 44 runs.

Jamieson struck yet again as he induced an edge from Risabh Pant, trying to flash outside only to be caught by Tom Latham for a duck. Ajinkya Rahane, who looked good for his 49 played a loose shot, trying to pull a short pitched delivery from Neil Wagner. BlackCaps captain Kane Williamson placed a fielder at short square leg prior to that ball and Rahane gave a simple catch to Tom Latham

There was a small partnership developing between Ravichandran Ashwin (22 off 27) and Ravindra Jadeja (15) but that was cut short by Tim Southee who got Ashwin edge one to Latham at second slips. India was 211/7 at lunch.

New Zealand bowlers took just six minutes after lunch to bowl out the Indians. Jamieson got both Ishant and Bumrah off consecutive deliveries. Trent Boult got rid of Jadeja, Watling taking a good catch down the leg side. India managed to score 217 runs all out from 92.1 overs. Jamieson was the pick of the New Zealand bowlers with five wickets, with Boult and Wagner chipping in with two wickets apiece.
