Xtra Time Web Desk: International Cricket Council released the latest ICC Men’s T20I player rankings on Wednesday. India batter Suryakumar Yadav’s powerful 69 against Australia in the 3rd T20I moved him up to the 2nd spot in the ICC T20I Batters rankings.
Surya Kumar Yadav has now 801 ranking points and surpassed South Africa’s Aiden Markram and Pakistan’s Babar Azam as well.
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan leads the table with 861 rating.
Surya’s fine innings in back to back matches managed him to get a quick and tremendous jump in the ICC T20I rankings. In fact, Surya Kuma’s magnificent knocks impressed several former batsmen.
Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma ranked 13 and Virat Kohli ranked 15 with 613 and 606 points respectively.
The upcoming India vs South Africa T20I series will play a crucial role for the players in the ranking list.
