XtraTime Web Desk: Two ace wrist-spinners Yuzvendra Chahal & Kuldeep Yadav will be the key factors for India in the forthcoming World Cup in England. Ahead of traveling to England Chahal looked supremely confident for his & Kuldeep’s good show on flat batting pitches in England.
“We are feeding off the confidence of each other. We have done well in all conditions and we have realized that we need to do the same thing. We don’t have to change according to conditions,” Chahal told Cricbuzz about his partnership with Kuldeep Yadav.
While talking about the equation between him and Kuldeep, Chahal said that the two share a very good bond even when they are off the field.
“He’s like my younger brother. You need a few people to talk to you when you are down. When I have a rough phase, he talks to me. When we are not with the team, we like to be in our personal space but it’s important to keep in touch too,” he further added.
The leggie has spoken about the influence of MS Dhoni and he believes that the presence of the seasoned campaigner in the side is brilliant and that the spinners are always very keen to follow what he says.
“Whatever happens, you need Mahi bhai. We still obey what he says. He intervenes when we go wrong. It was the same when we first arrived. Even today, if we plan something of our own, we feel the need to talk to him about it,” Chahal said.
