ICC CWC 2019: India to wear a new kit in the World Cup?

XtraTime Web Desk: The Indian Cricket Team are set to don an away kit in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as reports claim that the International Cricket Council (ICC) will introduce home and away jersey concept for the tournament.

ICC has decided to introduce home and away colors as England, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and India all wearing shades of blue, and South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh’s home colours green.

However, with England being the hosts, the other teams will have to change their colours when they take on Eoin Morgan-led England in the showpiece event. India’s yet-to-be-released jersey will most likely see the players wear a darker blue in the front, whereas orange will dominate the sleeves as well as the back.

Apart from their matches against Afghanistan and England team India will continue with their traditional blue jersey in the remaining games including the match against Sri Lanka. They have been listed as the home side for the face-off versus the Lankans. Meanwhile, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh also have green as their colour. As a result, they will have to look out for alternatives for a few games.

Pakistan will have the luxury to go ahead with their home jersey for their matches against South Africa and Bangladesh as they have been listed as the home side.
