Kolkata , December 24 : Brazilian defender Luciano Sabrosa has signed with the defending I League champions Mohun Bagan . The FC Goa footballer has signed on a loan for the I League champions this season . It means Judelin Aveska will have to make way for the Brazilian defender . The burly Haitian was not very impressive with his performances so far . But with Sabrosa joining the Green and Maroon ranks , it will definitely lend a solidity to Sanjay Sen’s team . Sabrosa fill up the fourth foreigners slot .
Sabrosa played for another Kolkata club Mohammedan Sporting in 2013-14 season before joining Pune FC . He made made 20 appearances in the I league for Pune FC, scoring two goals and helping the team finish fifth in the I-League under coach Karim Bencherifa’s tutelage. He also reached the finals of the Durand Cup and the King’s Cup, hosted in Bhutan, in 2015.
