I-League 2019/20: Papa's late goal seal the league for Mohun Bagan
XtraTime Web Desk: Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan has done int again. Tuesday at Kalyani Stadium they beat Aizawl FC 1-0 to become the I-League Champions for the second time. Though the first half was goalless but the late second half goal by Papa Babakar Diawara sealed the league for Green and Maroon Brigade. Mohun Bagan last win I-League title under Sanjay Sen & now they have won the league under Spanish gaffer Kibu Vicuna. On Monday during the prematch press conference Vicuna had told that not much changes will be made in the squad, but despite of having a full strength team on the field they had to wait till 80 minutes. Before facing Aizawl, Mohun Bagan needed two points in five matches but they didn't wait much and won the league by beating Aizawl.
