Kolkata: Minerva Punjab director Ranjit Bajaj is in a tremendous pressure after losing the game against East Bengal on Sunday. Two teams East Bengal and Chennai City FC are very much in the race to lift the I League trophy but, Ranjit congratulated Chennai City FC even before the clash against East Bengal.
Though he changed his statement today and Tweeted, “For all @eastbengalfc fans please rest assured that @minervapunjabfc will never let @ChennaiCityFC just win the match/we will give it our all/my last tweet congratulating Rohit was before the upset results-east Bengal have a great chance now especially now @ILeagueOfficial”Just realised that tomorrow @roh00 @ChennaiCityFC will be crowned the new champions of India and no one deserves it more / to my bro Rohit this is all due to your hard work and efforts as I really know what it takes to win the title against all the odds @ILeagueOfficial ????

While talking to www.xtratime.in he said, “I never supported match-fixing and AIFF is also very alert about that.
