I-League 2018/19: Dipanda Dicka’s stunner give Mohun Bagan an important win against Real Kashmir

XtraTime Web Desk: Great result for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan as they beat Real Kashmir FC 1-0 at their own backyard despite of a lot of odds. Their star forward Dipanda Dicka was the hero of the match as his solitary goal on the 70th minute mad the difference between two sides. Bagan’s another foreigner Henry Kisekka put a brilliant cross in the Real Kashmir box on the 70th minute of the game and Dicka did nothing wrong to put the ball in the net to make it 1-0. As the game was played on a synthetic turf the Green & Marron footballers faced a lot of problem while playing as they aren’t habituated with that type of turf. Their star midfielder Yuta Kinowaki too faced cramps on his foot during the game.

Despite all these odds Shankarlal & his boys left the field with three full points. Henry Kisekka got another easy chance during the game but his shot directly hit the goalie of Real Kashmir. The Green & Maroon brigade mostly trying to play counter attack football. The visitors had most of the ball position in both halves. In the meantime Real Kashmir footballers tried to break the dead lock but Bagan goalkeeper Shilton Paul, Kingsley and Dalraj defended their half very well. Shankarlal didn’t use his trump card Sony Norde as well in this game.

With this win they have gone past their arch rivals East Bengal. Now Mohun Bagan has 8 points after four games.
