Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India wicket-keeper batter is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to make an impact in the upcoming two match T20I series against Ireland at Malahide in Dublin on June 26 and 28 respectively. Samson, who was neglected for the home T20I series against South Africa has been working really hard to make full use of the opportunity.

The Kerala born cricketer has been in and out of the Indian side ever since his debut in 2015. He has only played 13 T20Is for India. The Rajasthan Royals captain has been trainjng at the ICC academy in Dubai with RR youth academy head Siddhartha Lahiri before travelling to Dublin with the Indian team. He was seen working on certain aspects of his game, honing his skills before leaving for Dublin.

Samson will face some stiff competition from Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik all considered vital in India’s T20I plans.

Meanwhile, the members of Indian T20 squad underwent their first training session at the Malahide Cricket Club, the venue of the two T20I matches. Captain Hardik Pandya, who reached Dublin on Friday morning was also seen at the training ground.
