The Rajasthan Royals captain has been trainjng at the ICC academy in Dubai with RR youth academy head Siddhartha Lahiri before travelling to Dublin with the Indian team. He was seen working on certain aspects of his game, honing his skills before leaving for Dublin.
Samson will face some stiff competition from Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik all considered vital in India’s T20I plans.
Meanwhile, the members of Indian T20 squad underwent their first training session at the Malahide Cricket Club, the venue of the two T20I matches. Captain Hardik Pandya, who reached Dublin on Friday morning was also seen at the training ground.
