“Hopefully will be ready to fly soon”: Sourav Ganguly after getting discharged from hospital

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly was discharged from the Woodlands hospital on Thursday. The former India captain underwent angioplasty following a mild heart attack on Saturday. He was admitted in the hospital for last 5 days.

The former India skipper was supposed to be discharged from the hospital yesterday, but he expressed the desire to stay there for one more day. He was eventually discharged from the hospital around 10:30am in the morning. His wife Dona and family members were present at the hospital during the time of his discharge.

Ganguly was seen walking out of the hospital along with Dr Rupali Basu, the MD and CEO of the Woodlands hospital. Sourav obliged the media personnel waiting to get his reaction. According to Sourav, “Thank you all those who waited all these days. To Woodlands Hospital, a big thank you. Thank you to all the doctors. They say, you come to the hospital to get your life back. Really been that way for me. Am absolutely fine. Hopefully, will be ready to fly soon.”
