Honours shared as Hyderabad FC vs Odisha FC ended 1-1

XtraTime Web Desk – A point for Odisha FC and Hyderabad FC as match between them ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Halicharan Nazary gave an early lead to the nawabs after Liston Colaco’s brilliant pass was well placed by Nazary. Hyderabad played attacking football and was looking for doubling their lead but Odisha defence was ready for any challenge. Arshdeep saved Aridane’s volley in the 23rd minute by diving towards his left to keep Odisha into the match.

Hyderabad got a brilliant opportunity in the 38th minute when Halicharan Nazary got the ball just inside the box but his shot hit the post and Hyderabad missed a golden opportunity to go ahead as the first half ended 1-1 at Fatorda.

Odisha FC got an early lead in the 2nd half. Cole Alexander scored the goal for Odisha. Odisha could’ve scored their second goal in the 74th minute but Akash Mishra made a goal-line save and then the ball hit the woodwork. The match ended 1-1 after most of the battle happened in the mid-field but neither of the team created anything special out of it.
