Kolkata: Mohun Bagan is slowly getting into the groove as they have now officially announced that they have already confirmed their five foreigners for the I-League. In a press conference the Mohun Bagan official Debasish Dutta told, “We have our five foreigners ready for the I-League.” He added, “Will disclose the name when time will come”.

Though Bayi Kamo and Ansumana Kromah have already started their training for Mohun Bagan, foreign defender Kingsley is yet to arrive. It is expected that he would be arriving on Thursday or Friday.

Meanwhile, despite the ‘reported’ transfer disputes, Pravat Lakra is still training with the Mohun Bagan side under coach Shankarlal Chakraborty. Official Debasish Dutta said, “I already had a word with Nabab Bhattacharya about him. He is a good friend of mine. I demanded a contract paper from him. If he can show the papers I am ready to set him free.”

Another controversial transfer target Dibyendu Sarkar also became a subject of trouble. Though the Bagan official claimed, “I will discuss the matter with East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar.”

On the flip side, Mohun Bagan has decided to confer the Mohun Bagan Life Time Achievement Award 2017 to legendary cricketer Shyam Sundar Mitra on 29th July.
