Internet Desk: Day 2 of the 3rd test match between India and Sri Lanka saw all rounder Hardik Pandya register is maiden test ton as India ended their innings at 487. India bowled Sri Lanka for 135 and registered follow-on on the hosts. Sri Lanka in the 2nd innings ended Day 2 at 19-1.

All rounder Hardik Pandya played a brilliant innings when he scored 108 runs in just 96 balls which consisted of 8 fours and 7 sixes. India scored 487 runs in their first Innings.

Sri Lanka crumbled to pieces when they came to bat. The whole batting order faced a major collapse when they were all out on 135 runs. Skipper Dinesh Chandimal scored the highest run of 48. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the top pick when he scalped 4 major wickets while Ashwin and pacer Shami took 2 wickets each.

India induced follow-on on the opposition as Skipper Virat Kohli made the hosts bat again. The Lankans ended their day on 19-1. Opener Upul Tharanga was dismissed by pacer Umesh Yadav.
