Happy Birthday Sachin: Sourav Ganguly wishes Sachin Tendulkar on 51st birthday
Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain and EX BCCI president Sourav Ganguly took to social media on to wish his 'dear friend' Sachin Tendulkar on the occasion of the batting great's 51st birthday. Ganguly shared a throwback photo of him and Tendulkar from their journey as he sent a personal note to his former opening partner with iconic ‘SHOLAY’ movie, “Yea Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge’.
Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar formed one of the finest partnerships on and off the field in Indian cricket during the late 1990s and the early 2000s. Tendulkar and Ganguly played 341 matches together and scored more than 24,0000 runs between them over a period of 16 years. Tendulkar was Ganguly's trusted aide during his captaincy tenure that took Indian cricket to newer heights.
