Hansi Flick set to be announced as German National team boss.

Xtra Time Web Desk: Hansi Flick had previously confirmed that he was in advanced talks with the German Football Association (DFB) about taking over as coach of the national team. The development come after Joachim Low decided to end his tenure in charge of Die Mannschaft after the Euro 2020 finals, opting to leave early rather than see his contract through to the 2022 World Cup.

Flick, a former Germany assistant to Loew until 2014, led Bayern to six trophies in the 2019/2020 season and also won this season’s Bundesliga crown but decided to leave after 18 months in charge. He was long considered the favourite to succeed Loew, and it seems that the change is now in motion. He was photographed entering the German FA (DFB) headquarters early on Tuesday, with media outlets and credible sources reporting that he has signed his contract with DFB and is set to be announced as German manager soon.  Flick had earlier himself said that it was “about the little things” and then the deal could be announced.
