XtraTime News Desk: The six day old daughter of Liberian footballer Ansumana Kromah and his wife Pooja is gradually recovering. According to the doctors the new born is out of danger although her bilirubin is still low. It has dropped from 22 to 13. Doctor Koley of Neotia childcare nursinghome has told Kromah and Pooja that they will discharge the baby after keeping her for a couple of days more for observation.

On Monday, the doctors said the newborn needed blood. If bilirubin is not reduced, blood may be needed to be given. Otherwise it will affect the brain. Although Chroma and Pooja managed to get blood from Life Care, it didn't work out in the end. The child responded to the medical system.

The entire football fraternity got concerned to hear the news of Kromah’s daughter. Mohun Bagan secretary Srinjoy Bose with his influence tried to help the footballer by getting her admitted in the Neotia nursing home. The ex Bagan footballer has been roaming from one hospital to another in getting her daughter admitted for treatment but with no success. Former East Bengal and Mohun Bagan coach Subhash Bhowmik too took intiative to see Kromah gets all the help he needed.

According to Kromah’s wife Pooja, ‘It is touching to see so many people coming forward for our daughter. We are really grateful to everyone. '
