Gautam Gambhir & Virat Kohli spat: LSG mentor posts CRYPTIC tweet

Xtra Time Web Desk: It seems the ongoing controversy between RCB star batter Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir will end anytime soon. More and more people are sticking out their nose in the matter. Latest in that list is noted journalist and television anchor Rajat Sharma. In a video that is going viral, Rajat Sharma is seen lashing out at Gambhir for bein g jealous with Kohli. The former India cricketer wasted no time to hit back at Sharma.

In a cryptic tweet Gambhir wrote, “Man who ran away from Delhi Cricket citing “pressure” seems over-eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket!” Gambhir’s Tweet went viral in no time, and netizens came in support of the LSG mentor for giving a savage reply to Rajat Sharma.

The veteran media personality was the one to attack only Gambhir by stating he has become arrogant after becoming a member of the Parliament. Not only that, Sharma also pointed out that Gambhir’s behaviour towards Kohli does not suit his image as the mentor of the team nor as MP of a political party.

It all started with Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants’ pacer Naveen ul Haq involved in a heated exchange during the closing stages of the LSG vs RCB match on May 01. The two players were in no mood to settle down the matter even during the customary handshake, with Naveen saying something to Virat. Gambhir, who was watching the whole incident vented out his frustration when he angrily took Kyle Mayers away from Kohli.

The RCB superstar sarcastically said something from behind, and that is when Gambhir completely lost his cool and went on to argue with Kohli.

Both Kohli and Gambhir were fined 100 percent of their match fees for breaching IPL code of conduct. Naveen ul Haq was also fined 50% of the match fees.
