Gambhir’s foundation will take care of the entire education expenses of the children of the martyrs. Confirming the news, Gambhir’s manager Dinesh Chopra said to xtratime.in, “Yes, it’s true. The work has already started in this regard and the progress will be made public soon” "On Wednesday morning, I picked up newspapers and saw gut-wrenching pictures of the daughters of two CRPF men killed in the latest attacks. One was saluting her martyred father while in the other picture, the howling young woman was being consoled by her relative," Gambhir was quoted as saying by The Hindustan Times. “It is for the same reasons (teamwork and selflessness) I love armed forces too, although the quantum of losing a dear one while serving the country can never ever be compared to losing a cricket match," wrote Gambhir. In one of the worst Naxal attacks in Chattisgarh in the recent past, 25 CRPF jawans were killed and seven others injured when Maoists attacked a patrol party of the 74th battalion of the paramilitary force near Burkapal village under Chintagufa police station limits on April 24. The KKR cricketers wore black arm bands for their Wednesday’s Indian Premier League clash against Rising Pune Supergiant at the MCA Stadium .The arm bands were worn to condole the deaths of 25 CRPF jawans in Sukma The KKR captain took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to condole the killings. “As we crib over lack of air conditioning or size of our already mammoth SUV, let’s ponder over d future of d daughters of CRPF martyrs.” In another tweet he said, “25 CRPF men sacrificed lives for d country. Sometimes I wonder if we deserve their sacrifice!!!”
