Former Team India opner Gautam Gambhir tests positive for COVID-19
Xtra Time Web Desk : Former World Cup winning team India opener Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing 'Mild Symptoms'. The former Kolkata Knight Riders Captain took to his Twitter to make the announcement.
In his statement, Gambhir wrote, "After experiencing mild symptoms, I tested positive for COVID today. Requesting everyone who came into my contact to get themselves tested."
The southpaw who was recently appointed as the 'mentor' of Lucknow Super Giants was in isolation previously in the month of November due to a family member of his testing positive for the deadly virus.
