XtraTime Web Desk: Cristiano Ronaldo’s six match goal scoring spree in Serie A ended on Wednesday night as Juventus were held 3-3 by Sassuolo at the Mapei stadium. It is the second consecutive draw for Maurizio Sarri’s side after losing points against Atalanta in their last fixture. The side from Turin is now on 77 points from 33 games, seven points clear of second placed Atalanta who leapfrog Lazio with a thumping 6-2 victory over Brescia on Tuesday. Lazio, who were only one point behind leaders Juventus when the season restarted a month back, have slipped to third spot after being held goalless by Udinese.

Juventus got off to a lightning start with Danilo (5’) and Gonzalo Higuain (12’) giving a 2-0 lead inside the first 12 minutes. The home side reduced the margin through Filip Djuricic in the 29th minute. Both sides went into the breather with Juve leading 2-1.

Sassuolo went ahead after the break with Domenico Berardi (51’) and Francesco Caputo (54’) finding the target but Alex Sandro produced a bullet header in the 64th minute to secure a point for Juve, who are chasing their ninth Serie E title in a row.
