SC East Bengal suggests FSDL to improve the standard of refereeing in ISL
XtraTime Web Desk - It's no rocket science to understand that SC East Bengal management is not happy with the standard of referring in this ISL. Coach Robbie Fowler openly criticized about this and said, “We have been playing against 12 men in almost every match”.
According to our sources, it is now confirmed that SC East Bengal indeed sent a letter to FSDL to improve the standard. The management however understands that it's not possible to change everything overnight and because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it's not possible for FSDL to bring in foreign referees.
Understanding all these points, SC East Bengal still wrote a letter to them. They feel they are losing points because of the poor referring standard. From the very first match itself, SC East Bengal feels they were robbed as a penalty was not given in their favour against ATK Mohun Bagan.
It's just not SC East Bengal as Chennaiyin FC's boss Csaba Laszlo also openly criticized referees because of their poor decisions. Fans all over the internet talk about this issue almost after every match. Thus, even after the broadcasting, presentation and the match quality with all the facilities are perfect, FSDL is facing a lot of backlash because of the referring standard.
