XtraTime Web Desk - After a disappointing performance in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid bounced back and beat Sevilla 1-0. On the other hand, Barcelona lost to Cádiz CF 2-1.

It was not only a very crucial game for Real Madrid but for Zinedine Zidane as well. Rumours were there that if Zinedine Zidane fails to beat Sevilla on Saturday then he might get sacked. Real Madrid however was lucky enough to beat Sevilla. The first half ended 0-0. In the second half, Yassine Bounou's own goal decided Real Madrid's fate. Madrid managed to beat Sevilla 1-0 and is now in 3rd position with 20 points from 11 matches.

FC Barcelona's night however wasn't that lucky. The catalans suffered a 2-1 loss against Cádiz CF. This is their fourth defeat in 10 La Liga games. Alvaro Gimenez gave Cádiz the lead in the 8th minute. FC Barcelona then kept the possession but couldn't do much with that. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Cádiz.

In the second half, Barcelona scored the equalizer. Pedro Alcala scored an own goal which brought Barcelona in level terms. Alvaro Negredo then scored in the 63rd minute and won the match for Cádiz. Barcelona forward line looked pale as they couldn't convert from the chances they created. With 7 shots on target, Barcelona players definitely missed their golden touch. They lost the game and are now in 7th position with 14 points from 10 games while Cádiz CF's dream run continues as they now have 18 points from 12 games and is now in the 6th position.
