Deepak Tangri has joined ATK Mohun Bagan on a two years deal.

Xtra Time Web Desk: ATK Mohun Bagan on Tuesday announced the signing of Chennaiyin FC Midfielder Deepak Tangri for two years. The 22 year midfielder is a product of Mohun Bagan academy. He was a part of the IFA Shield winning Mohun Bagan U19 team in 2017. Tangri started his professional career at Indian Arrows. He also represented India at U20 level. The midfielder made his ISL debut for Chennaiyin FC. The addition of Tangri will no doubt bolster the defensive midfield position of ATK Mohun Bagan. The club announced the signing by sharing a small video on its social media platform Twitter.

Meanwhile, ATK Mohun Bagan is in talks with three Asian quota players who are likely to replace David Williams. The club was in talks with Australian striker Jamie McLaren. The deal was almost finalized but the Aussie footballer decided to extend his contract with Melbourne City FC for two more seasons at the last moment. It is learnt that an Asian quota player will be signed in place of David Williams.

According to reliable sources, Fijian striker Roy Krishna is likely to stay with the Mariners for this season.
