Igor Angulo's brace helped FC Goa earn a point against Bengaluru FC
XtraTime Web Desk - FC Goa on Sunday managed to earn a point in a high voltage clash against former Champion Bengaluru FC.
Bengaluru were leading 1-0 in the half-time. Cleiton Silva in the 28th minute scored from a header that gave Bengaluru an important lead. The score line was justified as Bengaluru were playing offensive football right from the start.
In the second half, Bengaluru went 2-0 ahead as Juanan scored from an assist by Erik Paartalu. However, the night wasn't a fairytale one for the South Indian club.
FC Goa retaliated quickly as Igor Angulo scored his first goal in the 66th minute. He didn't stop as he scored again in the 69th minute.
This hard fought battle between both the teams ended 2-2 after 90 minutes. Igor Angulo's brilliance gave him the Man of the match award as he scored 2 goals from 3 shots with 100% shot accuracy.
FC Goa will next face Mumbai City FC on 25th of November while Bengaluru FC is scheduled to face Hyderabad FC on 28th of November.
