Brazilian footballer Robinho arrested after rape conviction and serve 9 years jail

The Italian government has informed that Robinho will remain in jail in Brazil. He has been under house arrest until now. This time he will be taken to jail. The Brazilian court has also given the same decision. So Robinho will have to go to jail. This decision came after the striker, who has scored 28 goals in 100 matches for Brazil, applied for a retrial.
In 2002, Robinho was crowned as a senior club footballer at Santos. In 2003, he was crowned in Brazil. Until 2017, Robinho played international football.
