Xtra Time Web Desk: Mumbai City FC has confirmed that Apuia Ralte will complete his transfer to Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG). This move comes after MBSG triggered the buy-out clause in Apuia’s contract. It is reported that his release clause with Mumbai City was set at approximately Rs 1.6 crore, inclusive of taxes.

Apuia Ralte, the 23-year-old midfielder for the Indian national team, was a crucial part of Mumbai City FC's success. He played a significant role in the team that won the Indian Super League (ISL) title by defeating Mohun Bagan Super Giant 3-1 in the final of the 2023/24 season.

Apuia joined Mumbai City FC in August 2021 from North East United FC. Over his tenure with the club, he made 81 appearances, scored six goals, and provided two assists across all competitions. His achievements include winning the ISL Shield in the 2022/23 season and the ISL Cup in 2024. As a central midfielder under coach Petr Kratky, Apuia was instrumental in MCFC’s build-up play, making him a pivotal player for the Islanders.
