Xtra Time Web Desk: Rahul Dravid was seen consoling a visibly dejected Virat Kohli in the dressing room following the star batter's dismissal for just 9 runs against England in the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final on 27th June at the Guyana National Stadium. Kohli’s lean patch in the ICC tournament continued, as he failed to make an impact at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

Kohli was dismissed in the third over of the match, attempting an aggressive shot against Reece Topley. A length ball from Topley clipped the top of Kohli’s leg stump, resulting in an early exit for the former captain and a significant blow to the Indian team, which lost its first wicket with just 19 runs on the board.
