No doubt, the iconic clash between Brazil and Germany in the FIFA U17 World Cup is all set to be a game to remember for the football crazy people of Kolkata. Unlike Brazil the Germans had seen the highs and lows already in the competition as they got thrashed heavily by 0-4 on the hands of Iran in the group stages. Though, like all the German sides did over the years, Christian Wueck's team has gone strength to strength as the tournament progressed. The German Coach in the pre-match press conference stated that the 7-1 victory in the FIFA World Cup 2017 will remain a special day in the history of German football history, but the statement by the gaffer was significant as he said, "Maybe three years after the World Cup 7-1 win. It was a game we never forget in Germany. But that was another team and not this team. Tomorrow is a complete different game. We do have no pressure because of the performance of the A-team.." The German coach confessed that the game against Brazil would be the most difficult one as he said, "It's the highest game they ever had. We are happy to play against Brazil and are looking forward to win." The German coach terms the day against Iran a "Black Monday" as he said, "We made a very bad game against Iran. It was Black Monday in Germany. None of my players reached the limit of their potential. In a World Cup, it is necessary to get the best out of my players on the pitch. We made changes in the defence." The German Coach might miss three pf his key players against Brazil, but feeling excited ahead of the game. He said, "I think it's very good that the stadium will ave many spectators and fans. It will be very loud. It is very important for the players to know how it is in the stadium in a quarter-final. To play against a very strong team. If support is mostly for Brazil, it's good for us." Wueck hails hos opposition as he said, "I think the quality of Brazil is very good. It's a very closed team and compact. They have many individual good players but tactically is very European like. It's not so easy to play against Brazil but we hope we have good defence and chance to win tomorrow." The German Coach knows the area they want to work on against Brazil to win the prestige battle, as he said, "We have to work on missed chances. We have a lot of quality on the pitch. We have offence which is very very good and fast. We had 80-90 chances in this World Cup. But we scored only handful of goals. So we have to learn and we have to learn very quickly. Against Brazil, it's much harder to get the chances." With both the teams gearing up with rich footballing legacies and pride, Kolkata is all set to watch a dream Quarter Final, which will remain on their hearts for the years to come.
