Their recent loss to Bayern Munich resulted in an unexpected early exit from the UEFA Champions League to enter the Europa League after 17 years.
And now with Sergio Aguero’s premature retirement and injury problems to Ansu Fati, Martin Brathwaite and Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona hasn’t been able to score goals regularly with a much weakened attack.
