EPL: Tottenham Hotspurs dream run continues; Liverpool won big

XtraTime Web Desk- Jose Mourinho and his tactics are doing wonders in the Premier League this season. Jurgen Klopp and his boys are also dominating even after their defensive duo of Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez are out because of injury.

Jose Mourinho and his second season fairytale continues. He turned Hueng Min Son into a beast and playing Harry Kane play into a attacking midfielder role. That is the magic recipe for Tottenham Hotspur this season. Playing against their London rival Arsenal, Tottenham outclassed Arteta’s side.

Hueng Min Son scored in the 13th minute to give spurs the lead. Harry Kane, his striking partner doubled the lead in the 46th minute. Interestingly, Kane assisted in Son’s goal and vice versa. This proves the chemistry this pair is sharing. With such a dominating performance, Arsenal had no chance. Specially the kind of form the team is in. Arteta’s decision of playing Aubameyang in the wings is costing Arsenal and if it doesn’t change, Arsenal’s fate might not change. Tottenham Hotspur won the match 2-0 and comfortably sitting at the top of the table with 24 points from 11 games. Arsenal on the other hand in on 15th in the league table as they have just 13 points from 11 games.

The Merseyside club, Liverpool is also playing some beautiful football. With three main players out of their first XI (Van Dijk, Joe Gomez & Thiago), Liverpool are showing great temperament and making sure that Jurgen Klopp is a happy man after 90 minutes.

Mohammed Salah started scoring in the 24th minute as Wolves defence couldn’t stop the ‘Egyptian Messi’. Wijnaldam scored in the 58th minute, Joel Matip in the 67th minute. Nelson Semedo scored an own goal in the 78th minute that decided Wolves’ fate for the night. They lost 4-0 as Liverpool keeps their momentum. Liverpool is currently in the 2nd position in the league table with 24 points from 11 games. They are behind Spurs because of the goal difference.
