England name unchanged squad for Trent Bridge Test

Xtra Time Web Desk: England National Cricket Selectors have named an unchanged 13-man squad for the third Specsavers Test match against India at Trent Bridge starting on Saturday August 18.

The ECB will make an assessment of Ben Stokes’s availability after the trial in Bristol has concluded. Earlier the all rounder told jurors he had drank two to three pints at his hotel, followed by five or six vodka-lemonades and ‘potentially some Jaegerbombs’ while clubbing in Bristol.

But he firmly rejected claims he was ‘really very drunk’ by the time of the brawl.  Stokes also claimed he suffered a “memory blackout” on th night.

The jury will now begin deliberations having heard both the parties.

Meanwhile the England team will start practice for the third test match on Thursday.
