Xtra Time Web Desk: England Cricket is rocked by yet another racism controversy.  Like Ollie Robinson, another cricketer from the current team is believed to have made historical racist tweets. England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has already suspended Robinson from international cricket due to which he will not be available for the second test against New Zealand starting in Edgbaston from June 10.

According to the reports in English media, ECB is investigating a second England player who posted historical “offensive material a day after Robinson was suspended for the same offense. As per Wisden the cricketer made a similar racist tweet when he was 16 years old.

The ECB also confirmed that such a social media post had been brought to their attention. In a statement, the ECB said the social media post had been “brought to our attention” and the governing body would make further comment “in due course”.

According to few reports, the Twitter feeds and Instagram accounts of each England cricketer are now being monitored.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson seemed not too pleased with the suspension of Ollie Robinson. The 27 year old cricketer from Sussex made a fantastic debut at Lords but has been suspended by ECB until they investigate into the tweets posted in 2012 & 2013.
