Trevor Morgan's team will next play Mohun Bagan in the all important derby on 9th April and the ground problems are creating serious disturbance to the training. Today, before the training, the East Bengal coach discovered that in one half of the playing surface, hockey training is going on. So, he had to sacrifice the full-ground training. Trevor was fumed in anger as he said, "Some of our officials perhaps made the mistake." On the flip side, East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar said, "The hockey training is scheduled in the afternoon. I think a few people have intentionally done it as they don't want us to do well." Meanwhile, injuries are still a concern for the East Bengal gaffer, as Wedson Anselme was still seen limping during his rehabilitation process. The Haitian midfielder has been a key play-maker this season for the Red and Gold brigade and was in some serious goal-scoring form in the I-League before getting injured in the Bengaluru FC match. The influential midfielder was recovering from the injury during the international break and then again suffered an injury at the same area. The derby is now just six days away and if Trevor Morgan doesn't get him at Siliguri in the Kolkata derby, his team will be under some obvious trouble. Australian forward Chris Payne too, is recovering from the injury he suffered a few days back and doing his rehab sessions. Meanwhile, Wedson's contract with East Bengal has created a new buzz. Today, Wedson's Bangladeshi agent GM Zulfiquer Haider has reportedly said that Wedson had five months contract with East Bengal which will last till the 31st of May, but has a clause of extending for a year if the officials get pleased by his performance. Though during Wedson's arrival back in December, in the press conference Zulfiquer told that Wedson had signed a one and a half year contract with the Red & Gold Brigade.

East Bengal's ground problem continues, Wedson's injury still a concern
