After the meeting, club official Debabrata Sarkar said, “In today’s meeting we have unanimously decided to take part in ISL and Super Cup. We will send a letter to our chairman Ajit Isaac to convey our decision so that he can consider.”

He also stated, “We are having several requests from former players and fans who want the club to play in these tournaments. We will request him to come and hold a meeting with us and discuss the issue. Hopefully they will respond within 48 hours.”

Regarding the ongoing turmoil with Quess, Debabrata Sarkar said, “It is really unfortunate that this difference of opinion is there. That is why we want them to come and conduct a meeting with us. We will wait for 48 hours and and then take any further decision”.

Though the club refused to make any comment regarding arch rivals Mohun Bagan and their statement on playing in the Super Cup.

Now it is to see how Ajit Issac and his team respond to it.
