Kolkata: East Bengal Club and Quess have taken another step towards their 'Golden Handshake'. As per sources, Quess Corp CEO Ajit Isaac called an East Bengal official from Bengaluru on Thursday morning and he told the official that Quess doesn't want to stretch this rift with East Bengal Club anymore.

Beside that Ajit Isaac also stated that he has committed to the company's stakeholders about not investing anything in football in this season. Also East Bengal Club has to file some important documents for AFC's club lisencing procedure in this season, which is also due right now and that's why he doesn't want any delay in this process of seperation between East Bengal and Quess.

After listening to this East Bengal officials too agreed with his thoughts and promptly they have created a draft agreement and has sent it to Quess office on Thursday evening. In that draft the Club have mentioned quiet a few terms and conditions. The main condition in that draft is Quess have to return all the documents of last year regarding club lisence to East Bengal Club so that the club can complete AFC's club lisencing procedure as soon as possible.

The East Bengal officials have also made it clear that Quess needs to send a letter to the All India Football Federation (AIFF) in which they have to mention that Quess is giving back the team's 'Sporting Rights' to the club. Beside that Quess had earlier told the East Bengal Officials that they don't want to pay anything regarding the remaining expenditure to any party. The club has agreed with Quess for that and they will look after the matter.

If everything goes right, the draft agreement which was sent by East Bengal Club to Quess will be approved soon and the Club will get back the much needed 'Sporting Rights'.
