Xtra Time Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday defeated defending champions Gujarat Titans by 15 runs in Qualifier 1 to cruise into the final of IPL 2023 at Chepauk. There were hundreds of Chennai Super Kings fans waiting at the lobby of Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai at midnight to get a glimpse of their favourite cricketers. As the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Shivam Dube, Matheesha Patirana entered the Team Hotel there were loud cheers. CSK skipper MS Dhoni sported a calm look as he was seen waving hands towards the fans.
In a video uploaded by the franchise on social media handle Twitter, former CSK player Dwayne Bravo was in a celebratory mode after the franchise booked a ticket for IPL 2023 final. The cricketer from Trinidad was seen soaking in at the celebrations. He could be seen holding a speaker in his hand and dancing to the beats of the Chennai anthem. Other squad members including Dhoni and Deepak Chahar were waiting outside the lift and enjoying the fun-filled celebrations.

Meanwhile, the CSK squad will be travelling to Ahmedabad on Thursday for the mega IPL final on Sunday, on Sunday May 28. They will face the winner of Eliminator 1 and Qualifier 2.
