XtraTime Web Desk: Ahead of the big semifinal of the ongoing Durand Cup 2019 Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan beat Indian Navy by 1-0 at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. In his debut game Deep Saha played an outstanding game as he could have scored a couple of goals. In the 58th minute of the game the green and maroon brigade got the much needed lead thanks to Fran Gonzalez’s goal. At the 55th minute of the game former Bagan player Dalraj Singh fould Sk.Faiaz inside the box and the referee promptly awarded a penalty to Mohun Bagan.
Gonzalez took a perfect penalty to give his side 1-0 lead. In the stands Bagan supporters too showed a great gesture to the Indian Navy players. They displayed a banner which showed,” National Club salutes the National Armed Forces.”
Mohun Bagan will face Real Kashmir FC in the big semifinal on August 21 at the Salt Lake Stadium.
