Kolkata: Thanks to some great Spanish football Mohun Bagan gets back to back wins against ATK. They won the game 2-1. The two goal scorers for the Green and Maroon Brigade were Fran Morante & Joseba Beitia. The only goal scorer for ATK was Ashish Pradhan. A great header by Romario Jesuraj hit the post as well in the first half. Though Mohun Bagan got chance for another goal but Surabiddin failed to push the ball into the net after receiving a minus from VP Suher.
Morante was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant defending and scoring a goal as well. Bagan goalie Shankar Roy made two brilliant saves against India’s young sensation Komal Thatal.
The fourth referee gave six minutes of added time but on the 95th minute of the game the players of both the teams had a brawl and the referee showed him a red card and Bagan had to play the final minute with 10 men.
