Kolkata: Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan ended their warm-up tour against Indian Super League clubs in a demoralizing fashion after they lost to FC Goa 2-0 today. In their first game against FC Pune City the Green and Maroon Brigade lost by 4-1.
The Kolkata based outfit conceded the goal at the very first minute of the game. Lanzarote just lobbed the keeper after receiving an inch perfect ball from Edu. The home side doubled the lead in the 21st minute of the game thanks to a neat finish from Ferran Corominas.
The Green & Maroon Brigade didn’t back down after conceding two goals. FC Goa’s goal-keeper Laxmikant Kattimani saved a brilliant shot of Bagan’s star Haitian winger Sony Norde. Mohun Bagan goal-keeper Shibinraj Kunniyil made some brilliant saves throughout the game.
