Internet Desk: Tennis lovers may see their no.1 star in a good form at Rio. No.1 seed of this Olympic Novak Djokovic gained his swing for the Games winning Roger’s Cup prior to Olympic. Yesterday he defeated Kei Nishikori of Japan at Toronto.

After a shocking exit from Wimbledon this year this is the first title of the World No.1. This will surely boost him up for the Rio Olympic. Winning over the World No.6 Kei Nishikori in straight set will help him locate his status of gaming.

Djokovic broke Nishikori for the first time midway through the opening set to go 4-2 up. It was a lead the Serb never looked like relinquishing and he sealed the set with a remarkable point of textbook defensive tennis.

The world No. 1 then looked set to make light work of his opponent, breaking Nishikori early in the second set before the Nishikori fightback began. The Japanese player recovered from a break down in the second set, leveling at 3-all and taking his first lead over Djokovic 4-3 in the next game. But Djokovic re-established himself with a break for 6-5, taking victory a game later on his third match point with a service winner that flew off Nishikori’s racket.

Tennis fans are expected to get good show in this Olympic. After former World No.1 Rafael Nadal returned from his injuries, this time present World No.1 Djokovic returned from his bad patch. Djokovic has never won a Bronze in the biggest show of games. This time he will go all out to prove his strength. Former Olympic Gold Medalist Andy Murray is also ready to challenge the tennis world masters.
