Xtra Time Web Desk: A video has surfaced on social media post the IPL 2023 game between RCB and Delhi Capitals, in which Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly can be seen not shaking hands with each other at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Saturday.

Kohli was in great mood after his fifty helped RCB beat Delhi Capitals by 23 runs. The star batter has been in red hot form in the ongoing IPL season, having scored three half centuries already.

Both Sourav and Virat do not share the best of relationship. It was during Ganguly’s tenure as BCCI President, Kohli was removed as the skipper of India’s ODI team had become a topic of major controversy. Ganguly claimed he had asked Kohli to not step down in the shortest format of the game. However, Kohli denied this in a press conference just days after Rohit Sharma’s appointment.

Kohli resigned from the Test captaincy just a month after the ODI captaincy saga, meaning he was no longer captain of India in any format.

Delhi Capitals is yet to win a game in ongoing IPL season since Ganguly’s return to the franchise as Director of Cricket. David Warner led side have lost each of their first five games this season. RCB’s win on Saturday is their second of the season with as many losses so far.
