Dhawan & co reach Christchurch for final ODI of the series | NZvsIND

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team reached Christchurch on Monday for the third and final ODI of the series against New Zealand. The Indian cricketers reached the South Islands by flight. The BlackCaps too reached Christchurch on Monday. Both teams will train at the Hagley Oval on Tuesday ahead of the final ODI. The Men in Blue are currently trailing in the three match ODI series following their loss in Auckland.

Team India’s stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan was seen taking a selfie with spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and all-rounder Deepak Hooda on the flight to Christchurch. In another post, all-rounder Shardul Thakur looked at ease, and in a jovial mood alongside Mumbai teammate Shreyas Iyer.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree and Surya’s wife Devisha also posted on their social media accounts to let the world know where Team India is headed next.

The game at Hagley Oval is already a sold out, as announced by New Zealand Cricket few days back. The Indian fans will be eager to watch Suryakumar and co level the ODI series against BlackCaps.

As far as the weather forecast is concerned, there are chances of showers on Wednesday. We have already seen the first T20I and second ODI getting washed out. There is forecast of 60 percent showers in the afternoon in Christchurch on Wednesday.
