CWC 2019: Former Indian cricketer opens up about his favorites

XtraTime Web Desk: Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman feels India and England are the favorites in the 2019 ICC cricket World Cup.
Laxman came to Kolkata as a mentor of Bengal team for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy opened up about the chances for Indian team to lift the World Cup trophy for the third time.
“It’s a great prospect for India as the team is in great form specially in the Australia and New Zealand tour. There are lots of players who performed well. India’s bowling and batting was superb.” VVS said.
“World Cup is a long format every player have to be at their best physically and mentally to lift the trophy.” Laxman advised the players.
Before leaving his favorite ground Eden Gardens he also said, “India and England are the favorites in this World Cup.”
