Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister slams Sarri, defends brother for Coppa Italia loss

XtraTime Web Desk: When most Juventus fans are criticizing Cristiano Ronaldo for his poor show in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday night, the footballer’s sister jumped to the defence of his brother on Instagram. Ronaldo’s sister Elma Aveiro slammed Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri’s tactics while defending his brother. In her post on istagram, Elma wrote, : “What else can you do? That’s it and that’s all, so my dear alone you don’t do miracles …I can’t figure out how to play like that football anyway…head up high, but you can’t do it my King.”

The Juventus coach criticized Ronaldo for his ‘lack of sharpness’ in the final.
“He’s in the same shape as the others, like Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa, he is lacking the sharpness to do what works best for him,” said Sarri to RAI.

He added, “I didn’t say much to the players after the game. I was angry and disappointed just like them, so at these moments it’s best to stay silent.”
“Right now, however, we lack brilliance and without that brilliance it becomes more difficult to beat the man, which our players are usually used to doing easily, and finding other solutions.”

Elma’s online attack on Sarri is not the first time he has been targeted by the family, either. After Ronaldo was subbed off against AC Milan in November, and appeared to question why as he headed to the bench, Sarri insisted the forward was struggling with a knee injury.
