Cristiano Ronaldo signs contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, according to reports

Xtra Time Web Desk: Portugese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two- and half-year contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr. Ronaldo will be seen in action for the new club from January 1, 2023.

Ronaldo ended his contract with Manchester United just days before the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, making him free to negotiate with any team.

Despite claims that Ronaldo would stay in Europe, the Portuguese star has penned a contract with the Asian club side. The contract, according to a report in Marca will see Ronaldo earn just under 100 million euros and he will also enjoy financial incentives via advertising, which will make the Portuguese the highest-paid sportsman in the world. The total worth of Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nassr will be close to 200 million euros per season.

Lionel Messi and Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain currently lead the way, earning 75 and 70 million euros.
