Xtra Time Web Desk: When most cricketers will be playing masters cricket at his age, 45 year old Darren Stevens is proving age is just a number. The Kent veteran on Friday created an amazing feat in the County Championship game against Glamorgan at the Spitfire ground in Canterbury. The 45 year old Stevens scored 190 runs off just 149 deliveries that included 15 hits to the boundary and the same number of sixes. He was involved in a partnership of 166 runs with Miguel Cummins for the 9th wicket, scoring the lion’s share of 160 runs. If that was not enough to impress, he also trapped Australia star Marnus Labuschagne leg before with a peach of a delivery that seamed in to put his team in a strong position after a batting collapse threatened to give Glamorgan the edge.

Stevens’ epic knock saw Kent post 307. Glamorgan were 48/2 in response on Day 2 at the time of writing, with the match delayed by bad light.
