Ruidas Kolkata: The much discussed about contract paper of Abinas Ruidas has been forwarded to the AIFF by the IFA today. The AIFF too forwarded the contract to Abinas on an immediate effect. Controversy started boiling when Ruidas and East Bengal landed in dispute over his contract. East Bengal claimed he was contracted with them for another 2 years, but Ruidas insisted that his contract expired after the 2016-17 season.

In an interaction, Kushal said, "We have received the contract paper and forwarded that to Abinas. He should now contact with the IFA for further information. Whatever IFA will tell us, we will listen to that and will take the further steps." Meanwhile, Abinas was supposed to go to the IFA office today but he didn't.
With an update for the clubs, The AIFF to officially announce the fate of the decision of having the new permission of playing with five foreigners in the I-League in a couple of days time.
Meanwhile, The AIFF to officially give advertisement for taking new I-League franchise clubs from tomorrow as per sources. Though AIFF Secretary Kushal Das told www.xtratime.in , "Yes we will start giving advertisements by this week only."
The AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das also shared a significant information regarding Mohun Bagan's initiative to host their I-League matches at their home. He said, "I-League CEO Sunanda Dhar has been monitoring the issue. But I'm verbally told that it is difficult to hose I-League matches there.
