Xtra Time Web Desk: Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday, 3rd September 2022, appointed the former legendary West Indies Skipper Brian Lara as their new Head Coach for the upcoming IPL season. He has replaced the former Australian International cricketer Thomas Masoon Moody. Brian Lara had joined the franchise in 2021 as a strategic advisor and batting coach. For Brian Lara, it will be the first experience as a head coach of a T20 team.
Thomas Moody was there from the beginning with Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2013 till 2022. Under his tenure, SRH has won 1 IPL title in 2016, 1 time runner’s up in 2018 and 4 times they have qualified in the playoffs. In 2022, the team could not perform well.
As per the source (Espn), the official agreement between Thomas Moody and the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise has come to an end.
