Bengaluru FC violated covid protocols in Maldives,participation in AFC cup remains in jeopardy

Indian clubs participation in the upcoming AFC cup remains in question. It is learnt from the sources that while in Maldives Bengaluru FC and their players have violated the laid down norms for covid protocols and this puts their participation in the upcoming event in jeopardy.

Sunil Chettri and his teammates fate will be known soon to us. Meanwhile ATK-MOHUNBAGAN is yet to announce officially but sources from inside their club has confirmed that considering the present situation they have wrote a letter to AFC stating the fact that due to corona attack inside their squad they wont be able to participate in the AFC cup and also seeked their advice for their next step.

Maldives youth and Sports Minister Ahmed Mahloof took to twitter and said ” Bengaluru FC has done an unpardonable crime by violating the covid protocols laid down by AFC and HPA. They have to leave Maldives immediately we won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour. Inspite of pressure from our people and increasing suit day by day we were determined for the last few months.”
