Xtra Time Web Desk: In a strategic move aimed at acclimatizing themselves to the challenging conditions anticipated in India, the England cricket team has embarked on a nine-day training camp in Abu Dhabi ahead of their upcoming tour to the sub-continent. The England team management has decided to train at the state-of-the-art facilities at the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub to prepare well for the turning tracks in India.
The facility in the capital city of UAE boasts an impressive 25,000 square meters of sporting excellence including the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. The hub also features as many as 65 pitches spread across four grounds and 22 outdoor turf nets. Apart from cricket-specific facilities, the hub also offers 31 other sports, ensuring the players remain engaged and active. This includes padel tennis, a favourite among England cricketers, and world-class golf courses within walking distance of their base.

The primary objective of England’s training camp is to meticulously replicate the conditions the team will face in India. This simulation not only challenges the players but also empowers them to devise effective strategies tailored to the nuances of Indian pitches.
The camp is a testament to the team's determination, with the belief that spending nine days in Abu Dhabi's world-class facilities will equip them with everything they need to confront India. Stokes and co are scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad three days prior to the first test which gets underway from January 25.
